From where ideas come? By practice, practice and practice. Yes I listened to Leslie Robertson. If anything I could have to add is “to practice in the right direction”. Many people do hard work but they don’t get a chance to work on something like Icecube, WTC or Sands Hotel. I want that “chance”. And I believe if you keep doing hard work, nature gives you that. Definitely!
Nature keeps reminding you, you know, to get back on track. It gives you ample time and more than many chances to get along the destined path. All you have to do is to keep trying and risk the usual for the unusual.
Just want to remind you and myself, the quote;
“I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have”. – Thomas Jefferson
And as Guy Nordenson said, one way to get into tall building team is to have expertise in a related field like wind engineering or mass tuned dampers, something that you are interested in. So I promise my self today that I’m gonna have good hands on structural dynamics, FEA and earthquake engineering.
